Student artistsColors of Cambodia is a project for children attending the most under privileged schools in the Siem Reap area.
We aspire to help by:

Drawing by Cambodia studentThe art shown at the gallery was created by children varying from 5 to 16 years of age. All proceeds from sales return to the children's school for educational needs. Certain more talented students will see their secondary education sponsored by sales from the gallery. From time to time other experienced artists may show their art and a high percentage of their sales proceeds will be used to assist the Colors of Cambodia project.

Colors of Cambodia was created by an artist and business man, William Gentry (Degreed, School of Fine Arts, Indiana University) and is underwritten by Positronic Asia, a Singapore corporation. William wishes to particularly thank Mr. Ung Savy of Siem Reap, as well as numerous volunteers, for their assistance in the Colors of Cambodia project.

Health Education and Literacy Program

This program couples literacy training with health education. The health education focuses on behavior change to prevent diseases. To be sure that the project meets the health needs in the village, the women in the literacy classes are asked to identify the diseases that are major problems in their villages.

Establishment of a Library System in Kep

Library at KepCWF initially started a small library at its Kep sub-site but due to its high level of use, the library has grown rapidly. The library consists of easy-reading English books and Khmer reading books as well. Women who live too far from our site or have no transportation are able to access books through the mobile library.
